How it works

  • Once you have found a job you wish to be considered for, either apply using the details supplied by the posting client or via Jump Forward (once you Register With Us as an Individual User), using your online profile; including any uploaded CV and portfolio.
  • It is free to apply for jobs via Jump Forward.
  • When applying using your Jump Forward profile you are given the opportunity to complete a cover note to accompany the application.
  • When you apply via Jump Forward your cover note, profile including your contact details (name, postal address, email address, telephone number and any personal web site link), any uploaded CV and portfolio are sent to the posting client's personal Jump Forward area.

General advice

  • The client has been told to give all information required to complete your application properly.
  • The client has been told there should be no hidden criteria in the job outline or explanation.
  • Make sure you have the relevant skills, experience, training, qualifications and authorisation required, either by the employer, law or any professional body, to be able to fulfill the job before you apply.
  • Make sure you are able to meet all requirements as set out by the client.
  • Make sure you fully understand all details of the role, such as job definition, salary, benefits and hours.
  • Make sure you are available to start work on the outlined start date.
  • Make sure you are able to get to the place of work without any problems.
  • Make sure your application is submitted by the closing date.
  • By applying for a job on Jump Forward you are confirming you fully understand the expectations of the job and are willing to work in that position. 
  • Make sure you will be available for contact and interview.

  • Remember that clients can contact you at any time once you have applied for a job, so keep an eye on your email, post and telephone.
  • If you have been contacted by a client, either by email, post or telephone, we recommend you respond immediately as you will have been specifically selected.
  • Any misuse of the Search Jobs section, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions, will result in the offender being barred from using Jump Forward.
